The idea came up during a job as a musician, watching a friend struggle to organise his files. He used an Android device and, at the time, there were no apps aimed at musicians with the quality we expect from a professional tool.
That is when I noticed something broader: even on devices where the apps had great technical quality, the user experience was not given much thought. The simple was left unexplored. The focus on the musician, on the daily practice — it was missing.
Musicians need tools that fit their needs, whether performing, teaching or playing together. No friction, nothing taking the focus away from what matters: the music. That conviction guides every decision at Sonare.
